Judy Register, Sister #5,Judy Register has been the Director of the Neighborhood Resources Division of the City of Chandler (AZ) and the General Manager of the Citizen and Neighborhood Resources department of the City of Scottsdale. Her experience includes overseeing code enforcement, housing rehabilitation, human services and neighborhood outreach.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University (Ohio) and a Master’s in Library Science from the University of Illinois. Judy’s career has included public and school library administration in Ohio and California before coming to Arizona in 1981 as a manager for the Scottsdale Public Library. She served as Library Director in Scottsdale from 1993 - 2001. Judy has been President of the Arizona Library Association (1991-92), is a graduate of “Scottsdale Leadership” and served as the Chairman of the Board of the Arizona Humanities Council (2002-04).
She currently serves as Chair of the Coordinating Council of the Arizona Women’s Heritage Trail project; is a member of Soroptimist International of the San Tans; and, is an adjunct professor at Arizona State University East and Mesa Community College. Contact Judy
